Privacy Policy for Editiva AI - All Docs Reader

Effective Date: October 29, 2025

Introduction

Editiva AI - All Docs Reader (“we,” “our,” or “the App”) respects the privacy of its users. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle user information and describes our practices for collecting, using, and protecting data when you use our app.

1. Information We Collect

Our app allows users to view, split, and merge PDF files, and to open and read Word, Excel, and TXT files. We do not collect or store any personal information such as names, email addresses, or contact details.

However, when you use the AI summarization feature, the text extracted from your document may be temporarily sent to the Gemini API (by Google) for processing. This data is used only to generate a summary and is not stored or shared by us beyond this purpose.

2. Use of Third-Party Services

Our AI summarization feature is powered by the Gemini API, a service provided by Google. By using this feature, you agree that your document content (text only) may be processed by the Gemini API for summarization purposes.

For more information about how Gemini handles data, please review their policies:

3. How We Use the Data

We use the uploaded document text only to generate summaries through the Gemini API. The processed text is displayed back to the user inside the app and is not saved, sold, or shared with any third party.

4. Analytics & Advertising ID Usage

Our app may use your device’s Advertising ID (provided by Google Play Services) and limited analytics information to understand app performance and user engagement.

The Advertising ID is used only for analytics and marketing insights.

We do not collect, store, or link this ID with any personal data.

We do not use the ID for tracking outside the app.

We fully comply with Google Play Developer Policies regarding advertising identifiers and analytics usage.

5. Google AdMob

We use Google AdMob to display ads inside the app. AdMob may use your device’s Advertising ID (AAID) to deliver personalized or non-personalized ads based on your preferences.

No personally identifiable information (PII) is collected, stored, or shared by us.

6. Firebase Analytics

We use Firebase Analytics to understand how users interact with the app. This helps us improve performance and user experience.

Analytics data is non-personal and does not include any document content or personal details.

7. Firebase Remote Config

Firebase Remote Config is used to update certain app elements (UI or features) remotely. This allows us to fix issues and improve the app without requiring a full update.

Remote Config does not collect any personal user data.

8. Firebase Crashlytics

We use Firebase Crashlytics to detect and diagnose app crashes. Crash reports may include device model, OS version, app state, and technical logs.

Crashlytics never collects document content or any personal information.

9. Data Security

We take appropriate measures to protect user data from unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse. Documents are processed securely, and once summarization is complete, no content is retained on our servers.

10. Data Retention

We do not retain any uploaded files or text beyond the active processing session. All data is discarded automatically after the summarization process is completed.

11. Your Control & Choices

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any updates will be posted with a revised “Effective Date.” Continued use of the app means you accept the updated terms.
